Accommodation advice is
sought for the 2nd week of this trip.
We are picking up a hire car from Reno to drive to Lake Tahoe for a
skiing holiday with other friends who are Police Officers from the
Dorset Police. We are all staying at the Holiday Inn, Lake Tahoe.
We only want to ski the first week with our friends and then want to
break away for the second week to warmer parts of California.
We thought about moving West towards Sacramento?
I am a keen golfer and will be bringing my clubs.
I would welcome any advice on where to visit for the second week 28th
February to 7th March and would welcome any offers of IPA hosting during
that second week.
I would welcome a ride out with a local police officer if that can be
arranged? I confirm that I am a serving officer and will sign a waiver
for the ride out.
I can be contacted direct on e-mail.
Thank you for your assistance.
John Brown.
(2) We still require 6 weeks
advance notice before your date of travel to the USA or Canada. E-Mail
notification does not mean you can break the advance notice agreement!
(3) You will receive a CC
copy of the authorised notification to the USA or Canadian Associate
Secretary. Thereafter you may communicate with the Section direct.
(4) The IPA will not reserve
or book accommodation for you. If you want information on hotels and
motels, etc. then state so on the e-mail and give your requirements and
budget per night.
(5) If you know your
accommodation address in the USA or Canada then please give full address
details in the e-mail.
(6) Ride outs or Police
visits are only arranged for serving police officers and not for
children or retired officers. You will be asked to sign a waiver before
a ride out.
(7) We reserve the right to
edit any notifications and remove excessive or over optimistic requests
A last word of advice,
please remember that any help or assistance provided abroad is dependant
on the good-will, availability and graciousness of volunteer IPA
members. A personal letter of appreciation to them or an e-mail after
your trip is worth a hundred thank you's made at the time.
PLEASE SEND ALL USA / CANADA
